You can't go wrong with a little bit of Flava

Flava flav who is originally from brooklyn New York, wears the crown of the king of raw raunchiness. He has, in my opinion the best reality show ever made. It's the type of show that when your flicking through the channels you've got to stop and see whats going on. Oh did i mention it's got sexy woman.

But by far my favorite is Deelishis

Deelishis is the walking definition of
Junk in the Trunk !!!

And there you have it folks. Out of all the different flavas, sizes, shapes and personalities , shes first runner up.

New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin

I want to make comment a quick on this Ray Nagin ( mayor of New Orleans ) thing. He's in New York right now seeking money to put towards the rebuilding of New Orleans. I'm pretty sure just about all of the country know about the harsh and controversal statements he made about ground zero ( world trade center site ) being "a hole in the ground newyorkers couldn't get fix in five years", Especially with it being two great city's that went through very different but exemtemly tragic events that effected america as a whole. At a press meeting he expressed how he shouldn't have said what he said but doesn't formally apologize. Most newyorkers won't forgive him for the harsh comments in may opinion and that would be understandible if they fell he's not sincere.

Lets not forget the bigger picture. When it comes down to it, it's not about Ray Nagin. Its about one great state that fairing better helping another great state that doing less fortunate. That what makes us the United States right ?. Its not about the person, its not about the politics. Its about the people of this great nation.

The VMA's tonight

If ever there was a good week to be in New York City, its this one. With the Video Music awards going on in radio city music hall theres plenty of stars looming around the city. With a list of stars like beyounce knowls, jessica simspon, christina aguilera and the infamous paris hilton the streets of new york are a buzz. If you don't have access into the city its all right. The only thing ya'll have to do is turn to MTV 8pm or 7c tonight. I personally can't what to see the performances by Justin Timberlake and beyounce, that one's going to be on fire.

How to steal a bike in NYC

While i was looking through videos, as i do when i have free time. I ran across this video of a guy in NYC that says he's so tired of having his bike stolen that he was going to go around Manhattan and see just how easy it is to steal a bike. This guy is hilarious and he's actually going around experimenting with different types of tools. Some of the people seem not to notice and some of the people seem not to care but the facial expression on some of there faces is priceless. I guess that's just newyorkers for you.

The contrast of NYC art

In this day in age when oil is becoming more of a luxury then a necessity New York city museums and artist a like are portraying there art in a way that only a true city dweller would understand.

The vibrant red antique luxury coop in front shining, which represents the epitome of high life NYC set against the black NYC subway sign against white which in my opinion bring the reality of what it means to be an every day newyorker in the daily hustle and busle. But that's my take on it, hey you may just see a cool car.

Wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times

Ok this is one of the marvelous art-deco building at Rockefeller center, which is located in midtown Manhattan . With statues of a pagan god with the world on its shoulders amongst the other Norse gods and overall architecture it kinda makes you wonder. Was the blueprint and overall scheme of thing laid out by some order of a secret society?

This image particulary got me thinking. If you notice the way in which he has his hand, it in a certain position. I've seen this some where before I just can't remember maybe you do.

New York City tour video

I choose to put this video up because not only does it give a great all around view of the New York City's streets and it's atmosphere. This video also have very clear shots of specific building and tourist attractions with the names under the shot of each site. The background music is kinda happy go lucky but its an all around great video of some of NYC most greatest sites.

What's up with karr

Ok now i now this has absolutely nothing to do with NYC but i was reading about this guy at Yahoo News . This is the guy that said he killed the young beauty pageant child Jon Benet Ramsey 10 years ago.It turns out he was not charged for the murder ( the DNA didn't match ). Personally i thought the nut case was just trying to get some attention in the first place ( it turned out that i was right ) and it looks like he also got a plane ride in first class, with first class meal included.

Competitive subway riding

OK, know this has got to be one of the more odder NYC events, but a couple of college students actually got the media following them around the NYC subways as the two rode through every borough and every station breaking some 1998 record. I can't really see this as a catchy fad being a newyorker and having to use MTA every day. I got to tell you the average newyorker avoid taking the subway if not very necessary.

To find out more about this story you can visit the students blog.myspace.com/subwaychallenge
Well It's one of those drizzily gloomy days in the city of New York. Its been raining all day without a ray of sushine the sky has been like dusk all day till after dusk, Which is know night. I just got in from dinner a favorite buffet of mine on Throop and Flushing ave in brooklyn there seafood is pretty good. But anyway while i'm sitting in front of these screen i thought i'd suggest a couple of good NYC blog. The first one is New York on tap where you can read on every thing from NYC current events to NYC's current weather and temperature. Another favorite of mine is New York City Tourist Attractions were your can get reviews on some of New York City's best tourist sites.
If you know of any good NYC related websites please comment. I'll be glad to take a look and maybe even do a review.
